How to choose a frame for your paper print
Paper prints are a beautiful and accessible way to bring art into your home. In this post, I’ll talk a little bit about your options for finding the perect frame for your home and for your art print.
Framing Your Print
Framing is what turns a print into a finished piece and protects it for decades to come.
You have two main options:
DIY Framing
Choose a standard-size frame from a home décor or frame shop. Look for frames with real glass or UV-protective acrylic glass.
Many of my prints are made to fit standard European frame sizes like 50x70 cm, and 70x100 cm.
Professional Framing
A custom framer can help you choose the perfect material, color, and mat. They’ll also use acid-free backing and secure your print properly. This is a great option for large or limited-edition prints.
Want help choosing a frame color? I often recommend oak, walnut or natural wood, they work beautifully with most of my artwork.
